Perbedaan Standard di atas didasari oleh perbedaan Mechanical Properties (Sifat Mekanik) yang dimiliki oleh pipa tersebut. Mechanical Properties tersebut akan mempengaruhi variabel dari Yield Strength dan Tensile Strength dari pipa.
